Robert Sturdy Condems Argentina’s Protectionist Agenda in Letter to EU Trade Commissioner

Brussels, 12th April 2012 – Robert Sturdy MEP, Vice-Chairman of the International Trade Committee in the European Parliament, has blasted Argentina’s recent behaviour in a strongly worded letter to EU Trade Commissioner, Karel De Gucht. In his letter, co-signed by the Chairman of the Conservative Political Group in the European Parliament and fellow Conservative MEP Martin Callanan, Mr. Sturdy has demanded that the EU get tough with the Argentinian Government over its persistent attempts to prevent British products entering the Argentine Market.
